To ensure that no child is left behind by promoting a focus on academic, emotional, behavioural and social support to prepare our students for adult life.

Aims and Ethos

Assess Education is an alternative provisions independent school. Our vison is to provide a safe and enriching environment to 11-18 year olds who require a alternative approach to mainstream education through inspirational teaching and tailored support.

Assess Education use a variety of innovative teaching approaches targeted to suit individual needs both academically and pastorally to greatly improve our student’s chance at succession.

We live by the philosophy that no child is left behind and with our embedded comprehensive enrichment programme we ensure a focus on a combination of academic, emotional, behavioural and social needs. Here, we offer a both face-to-face learning and E-Learning or where needed a blended approach to ensure every child can maximise their academic potential.

By the end of our students Assess Education journey they will be well prepared for the modern world with a positive approach to learning and confidence as they enter their future careers. Students will be both willing and able to contribute and strengthen their communities and achieve success in their chosen paths.

Assess Education is a non-for profit organisation based in Wavertree, Liverpool. We are committed to raising the academic attainment of our pupils, helping them to develop their interpersonal skills and employability within a safe, non-threatening environment. We believe that we can empower young people to achieve their potential. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive learning environment in which each and every student has the opportunity to develop their self-discipline, motivation and excellence in learning.

As an approved alternative provision with independent school status, our main objective is to encourage and enable access to further education, training and employment, ensuring no child is left behind or excluded from their opportunity to access a high-quality education provision.

As an accredited centre we offer full and part-time courses which can be studied at various levels such as GCSEs, Functional Skills, entry-level and BTEC qualifications.

Beyond the curriculum, we are also committed to supporting students to develop their skills in order to become independent and self-sufficient adults who will succeed and make a responsible and valuable contribution to the wider community. This is achieved via our Enrichment Activities.

A team of experts

Our team of teaching staff are all qualified teachers with vast experience in the industry. As such, they are able to apply their experience to our provision, ensuring our delivery is second to none. Supporting the education element is our team of Pastoral staff, who are on hand to offer emotional and behavioural support to our pupils.

We also work closely with the likes of counsellors and external support agencies, to offer students the support and guidance that they need. The community where we work are vitally important to us, and we are proud to open our doors to give back to our community.

By working closely with organisations such as the ADDvanced Solutions Community Network, CAHMS, FOCUS and NWCS, we can support more young people to become socially mobile by engaging with education.
